This is a promising sign for the industry, showing a strong recovery from earlier dips. While Europe is seeing a slight decline overall, specific regions like Switzerland are experiencing a seasonal uptick due to the ski season. However, major markets like Germany are showing a significant drop in activity.
The Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix has significantly boosted activity in the Middle East, with a surge in arrivals, particularly from the UK, Qatar, and India.

While many of us were cozying up with family and friends over Thanksgiving, Christmas, and private jets were buzzing through the skies. In fact, Week 48 saw a slight dip in North American activity due to the holiday. However, the Thanksgiving holiday period itself was a record-breaker!, a whopping 24,181 business jet departures took off from US airports during the Thanksgiving holiday, a 36% increase compared to 2019 and a 12% increase over 2023. Florida emerged as the top destination for Thanksgiving travelers, with nearly 3,500 business jet arrivals from other US states. The Sunshine State's warm weather and beautiful beaches made it the perfect getaway for many."
In week 49 North America is leading the charge, with a 10% increase in bizjet activity. Florida, California, and Texas are particularly hot spots, experiencing substantial growth. The post-US election period has further fueled this surge, especially among aircraft management and fractional fleets. NetJets was the busiest operator on the LA-SF route, accounting for 22% market share. Over a quarter of flights on the route were flown by Heavy Jets, next busiest were Super Midsize types.
